As a proponent of art as advocacy the mission of this site is to
encourage the use of the Reproductive Choice symbol by enlisting other
proponents that simultaneously respect and value the importance of human
rights and are eager to support the use of the visual arts as a
vehicle to heighten awareness surrounding rights to Reproductive Choice.
Every person has a right to self determine their course of life and the
decision to reproduce or not is one such civil and human right.
The Reproductive Choice TM symbol is a comprehensive Symbol and has
three all inclusive components:
· Birth
· Abortion
· Same-sex Sexuality
Reproductive Choice supports the choices we make, whether
the choice is affiliated with having a child and becoming a parent;
whether to terminate and abort an unwanted pregnancy or whether the
choice is to engage in sexual activity without the outcome of
procreation.
As a partner member of “Causes in Common“ our social mission is,
likewise, inherently incorporated into the all-inclusive reproductive
precepts of the Reproductive Choice Association'sTM mission whose belief
it is that all people, without exception, have the benefit of freedom of
sexual activity without the outcome of procreation and that this
fundamental right must be recognized if the LGBT community is to thrive
and become an equal member of society, deserving of equal rights like
any other heterosexual member- without prejudice- so that legitimacy can
be established and reproductive justice can ensue equally for all
people.
